When Caroline finds a hidden attic filled with ritual objects linked to hoodoo – a form of Southern folk magic – she suspects Violet is using it to harm her husband. As Caroline delves deeper, she uncovers the home’s dark past: decades earlier, two servants, Mama Cecile and Papa Justify, were lynched for practicing hoodoo, leaving a sinister legacy that still lingers in the house.
